The Autism Association (Singapore) (AA(S)) Annual Accountability Address 2015 was held at the Eden School in the evening of 9 January 2016. Gathered together were staff from headquarters, Eden Children’s Centre (Clementi and Simei), Eden School, Eden Centre for Adults (Hougang and Clementi), Eden Activity Club, as well as the board members and stakeholders of AA(S) and Eden School.

The event started with a welcome address by Mr Ho Swee Huat, AA(S)’s Chairman. It was followed by updates by the respective unit heads on the highlights, achievements and progress of programmes and services.

Ms Jacelyn Lim, Deputy Executive Director of Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), was the guest speaker on the topic of Employability and Employment Centre, casting light on the milestones and plans to serve the adults with autism.

To conclude the event, there was an inspirational story shared by Ms Denise Phua, AA(S)’s Board Member and Eden School’s Supervisor, to encourage staff to seek dreams and never give up.
