Curriculum Lead Full Time

 

Role Purpose

The Curriculum Lead provides strategic and operational leadership for curriculum direction, coherence, and quality across Eden School. The role ensures curriculum alignment across Junior and Senior campuses, supports evidence-informed autism pedagogy, and strengthens cross-subject integration to improve learner outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1) Curriculum Direction, Coherence & Integration

  • Lead curriculum direction and ensure coherent progression across Junior–Senior pathways.
  • Ensure curriculum integration across subjects and domains (e.g., alignment of skills, concepts, and application opportunities across learning areas).
  • Ensure curriculum structures support diverse learner profiles and school priorities.


2) Curriculum Design, Review & Quality Assurance

  • Lead curriculum development and review cycles, including documentation, refinement, and evaluation.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for curriculum materials and assessment approaches.
  • Ensure curriculum resources are consistent, usable, and implementable across classrooms.


3) Autism Pedagogy & Learner-Centred Design

  • Ensure curriculum design reflects strong understanding of autism pedagogy and learner variability.
  • Support teams in embedding appropriate instructional approaches, adaptations, and evidence of learning into curriculum planning.


4) Collaboration & Implementation Enablement

  • Work collaboratively with educators, IEP teams, and domain specialists to ensure curriculum is enacted effectively.
  • Enable curriculum implementation through clear guidance, templates, exemplars, and planning tools.
  • Gather implementation feedback from teams and translate it into curriculum improvements.


5) External Liaison & Strategic Planning

  • Liaise with MOE SEB on curriculum-related matters, reporting requirements, and school-wide initiatives where relevant.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and cross-campus curriculum planning to support long-term school development.


6) Technology & Curriculum Initiatives

  • Use strong IT skills to support curriculum initiatives, including exploration and piloting of tools that improve curriculum development and access.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation systems and shared resources to support collaboration and consistency.

 

Required Experience / Skills

  • Teaching experience across diverse learner profiles, preferably across both Junior and Senior settings.
  • Strong understanding of autism pedagogy and curriculum adaptation for autistic learners.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, documentation, and curriculum design skills.
  • Strong IT skills to support curriculum systems, resourcing, and innovation.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum leadership, coordination, or instructional coaching.
  • Experience working with MOE SEB or similar external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-subject or cross-domain curriculum integration work.
