Endorsement Policy

The Autism Association (Singapore) (AA(S)), including its Programmes and Services, occasionally receives requests or requirements from external parties, e.g. vendors, suppliers, service providers, organisations, healthcare professionals and educational specialists etc, to collaborate and endorse their products, services, processes, programmes, documents or policies and so on, in exchange for supporting AA(S) Programmes and Services, or any forms of gifts or assistance.

In general, AA(S) does not endorse, support or recommend any products, services, processes, programmes, documents or policies and so on, of any other individual or organisation, whether the party concerned is for-profit or non-profit. In particular, AA(S) does not endorse and guarantee any policy or document which has been developed without AA(S)’s participation.

Any product donated to and service rendered to AA(S) is first and foremost, accepted by the Association in good faith on the premise of philanthropy. AA(S) is strictly not obliged to support the development of or participate in an event, activity, campaign, initiative or project of an external organisation.

As a vendor-neutral Social Service Organisation, AA(S) could exceptionally use the knowledge, information, materials of products and services available in the marketplace either for its internal purposes, where such knowledge, information, materials, products or services are relevant to the Association’s practices and conducts various Programmes and Services, or where it is deemed suitable by AA(S) for its vision, mission, values, objectives, goals and aims.

AA(S) may inform its members, staff, parents/caregivers of clients/students etc of the use or consumption of the products, services, processes, programmes, documents or policies and so on, provided by an external organisation at the discretion of AA(S), but is under no obligation to do so.

AA(S) may provide, at its website, collaterals, web links etc to another organisation but only in so far for the purposes of AA(S) website users and/or AA(S) mission, objectives, goals and aims. AA(S) is not responsible for the availability of products, services, processes, programmes, documents or policies and so on, of another organization, nor for the content published on the third party websites, or collaterals, web links etc, which one views at his/her own risk.

While every effort is made by AA(S) to check these websites, collaterals, web links etc to ensure that they are relevant and appropriate, linkage to AA(S)’s websites, collaterals, web links etc does not imply AA(S)’s endorsements, agreements, opinions, views and support.
