Cafe Operations Executive Full Time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Cafe (Professor Brawn Express) Operation and Management

    • Ensure overall safety and hygiene of Café work areas
    • Ensure staff adhere to NEA standards and guidelines on food hygiene (handling & storage)
    • Oversee staff deployment & development, which includes and not limited to: scheduling of staff, communication and assignment of roles and responsibilities, performance & coaching, training and upskilling
    • Oversee inventory and management of food materials & waste, which includes and not limited to: ordering of food / materials, usage to ensure minimal wastage, proper disposal of food waste etc.
    • Oversee equipment inventory and its proper maintenance and working condition.
    • Perform annual budget & forecast for café operations
    • Manage internal orders for school events

       

  •  Cafe (Professor Brawn Express) Asset Management

    • Manage records of fixed assets in café (include IT equipment) in accordance with Finance guidelines
    • Perform yearly inventory exercise & reconcile with Finance’s records for audit purposes
    • Review, manage & replace existing assets/fixtures; to facilitate safe and efficient use
    • Maintain proper records of loan and return of school equipment

     

  • Event Management
    • Provide logistics support for all internal school events & training
    • Prepare event / training facility as per instructions
    • Support other Ops staff in all internal school events & training

 

Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Experience working in F&B setting preferred
    • Good Team player and able to handle people of all levels
    • Independent, meticulous, and able to uphold high level of integrity
    • Proficient in MS office
    • Cafe Operating Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 4pm
