Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning
    • Support in developing and review of Human Resource policies
  • Employee Relations and Retention
    • Arrange and coordinate employee orientation and teambuilding activities
    • Support Grievances Management & assist in conducting Exit Interviews
    • Lead in staff communication channels e.g. conduct of surveys, focused group discussions, extended lunch breaks, suggestion box etc.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Oversee leave and claims management
    • Update revisions to staff employment contracts, benefits & entitlements
    • Oversee leave claim submission on government portal
    • Renewal of annual staff insurance policies
    • Assist in work pass renewal with the Ministry of Manpower
    • Prepare and submit monthly Manpower Statistics & Charts Updates
  • Training and Development
    • Assist in staff training requests, registration & grant applications
    • Assist in logistics for staff Induction Programme
    • Assist in logistics for internal and external local and overseas training (reserve venue, prepare training resources, arrange transport, correspond with staff)
    • Assist tracking and updating of staff training records and learning feedback forms
  • Recruitment and Selection
    • Submit and update MOE Registration portal for SPED Teacher and Non-Teaching staff
    • Support Recruitment administration (create staff P-File & update Staff information in HR System)
    • Assist at Off-Site Recruitment exercises
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by Head of Department

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven competence in relevant field of work
  • Strong organizational skills, keen to details and can work with minimum supervision
  • Good command of verbal and written English
  • Team player, flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility
  • Passion to serve in an organization that makes a difference in the lives of individuals with special learning needs
  • This 1-year contract is subjected to renewal or conversion to permanent, upon good work performance.
