Responsibilities:
- Assessment
- Conduct Intake Assessment for Students applying to Eden School
- Conduct Vocational Assessment
- Conduct Mental Capacity Act Assessment
- Conduct Communication Screening
- High Needs Grant Assessment
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Conduct Behavioural Assessment (FBA,BIP)
- Crafts Individual Behavior Plans for students
- Implement & Coach behaviour plans & strategies with teachers to teach replacement skills
- Coordinates student's behavior management cases and follow up on behavior plans
- Attends to crisis hotline, manage the CPI teams for behavior issues
- Develop Social skills module with team on perspective taking and empathy
- Training
- Conduct New Teacher Induction
- Participate in PCN sharing
- Project Development
- Responsible in development of ASD supports
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Psychology, preferably 2nd upper honours
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Strong organizational skills, keen to details and able to work with minimum supervision
- Team player, flexible and have strong sense of responsibility
- Has the desire to learn about autism, possesses the patience to teach students with special needs
- Has the passion to help and assist students with special needs in maximizing their talents and potentials
